Meetings |
 The
association holds several general meetings throughout the school year, which are
free to members. Visitors are charged a nominal fee when the meeting includes a
meal.A program is planned for each meeting by the Executive Board and Directors, usually featuring guest speakers from the media, government, or other organizations whose activities have an impact on education and/or the public's perception of Long Island's public education institutions.
LISPRA provides a forum to polish professional skills, stay abreast of current issues, and obtain assistance in addressing a variety of subjects in one's own district. |
